Want to get e-ticket for your railway journey in India? Just follow these steps and you have e-ticket in your hand.
- If you don’t have login id and password then register yourself first.
- Now login with username and password to access your personal account on IRCTC website.
- Go to “plan my travel” option and enter details like source and destination (from and to) train station.
- Select date and ticket type (e-ticket) and quota.
- After that you can see list of available trains for selected routes. If you want to know about train time and route click on train name from list of available trains. Here you can see applicable fare for the selected train and class that checked.
- Now add passenger details like Name, Age, Sex, Berth Preference and Senior Citizen.
- Next step include payment. Click on Make Payment option and pay your money with bank’s credit cards, debit cards, internet banking etc.
- On successful ticket booking user can see print reservation slip button to make a print their ticket.
